HR is never wrong!
The first department everybody gets to interact with is the “HR
department”. This is a department that is supposed to make the process for
everything which apart from them nobody follows.
The HR department is like Sajid Khan films, it is super serious
and has no significance at all. How can somebody fail these interviews, they
ask questions like “Where do you live?”, “Are you comfortable with office
timings” etc. obviously not someone answering “Boring timings, I am not working
here”?
Well jokes apart, let’s get to what information we seek through
this blog.
THE HUMAN RESOURCE DEPARTMENT OF THE STATE BANK OF INDIA
Well, we have already had a gist about what the HR department is,
I want to grab your attention to what are the various strategies used by the HR
department of SBI especially in recruiting.
So you might wonder why SBI?
Simple answer: Bank job + Government job = money+ security =
DREAM
Now, to fulfil this dream many would want to look into the brains
of the HR department of SBI who are the key to your success!
We wouldn’t discuss the procedure to get into the bank for a
simple reason being YOU CAN GOOGLE IT!
What we want to concentrate the most is about, the different
strategies that they use to recruit quality members. This will tell us what
they think!
For the SBI, hiring in spurts hasn't worked out. This is due to a
significant decrease in the number of employees for this year. There are 10,000
layoffs this year, but only 5000+ new hires. As a result, retirement is more
than a job. Hiring is no longer done in spurts, but rather on a year-by-year
basis.
Standardizing the recruiting process would increase the bank's
efficiency and allow it to hire new personnel at the appropriate moment. On the other side, it will aid candidates in their preparation for the qualifying
examination and interview. They are not required to wait for an employment news
announcement.
The State Bank of India's final change would be to prepare the
unused initiatives. SBI is planning to speed up its preparations. They require
more hands-on preparation to increase the representatives' efficiency. Each
candidate must be well-prepared ahead of time.
Well, these strategies really help the department in managing the
human resource quite effectively!
Well! We can’t deny their work as HR IS NEVER WRONG!
